Today we arrived at the tropical manaus hotel after spending the night in the amazon jungle. It was a welcome relief from the hammocks that we had slept in the night before. The hotel was very nice, with a huge pool area. We got to hang out by the pool and sketch, then we had dinner at one the the restuarants within the hotel. The day was a rather laid back and we were excited to depart on the river boat the next day.
