We also learned about the different plant life in the jungle and the uses that the natives have for all of the different plants. We learned about the sap from a tree that the natives use in order to start fires. We had a great time exploring the jungle and learning more about how people interact with this environment. Later in the day we all had the chance to go swimming from the boat. After dinner we had class on the boat where we presented our group projects and then all played pictionary with different phrases and words from our trip so far. We had a great day on the boat and we learned alot about how the natives interact with the river and the jungle around them.
