Cat and Sean 01/13/2012

Today we had class in out amazing classroom at the Escoloa De Artes. We had a guest speaker, who's the curator from the Museum of Contempory Art. He spoke about the progression of Brazilian art of the last century.

After class we had lunch at our school's cafe, which overlooks a beautiful pool and the lush mountains that surround Rio are visible from the seats. The Christ the Redeemer statue is visible from here as well!

We then returned to the hotel and had a great time swimming on Ipanema beach, the weather was perfect as usual!

That night we went into Lapa, a well known party neighborhood in Rio. We took a cab to the main street lined with numerous clubs and bars, and the street was so crowded with people it was closed to traffic! All in all another fun day in Brazil!
